The length of a rectangle is four more than twice its width. The perimeter is 116 in. Find the length of the rectangle.​

Answer:

Length is 38.7

Width is 19.3

4x length to 2x width

4+2=6

6x =116

x = 58/3

4 x 58/3 = 77.3

2 x 58/3 = 38.7

4:2

2:1

77.3/2 = 38.7

38.7/2 = 19.3

38.7 + 38.7 + 19.3 + 19.3 = 116
